Stretch Your Stamps 2 Day 1

Hello! Hope your day is going well. Mine started off with a bang, as it's the first day of class for Stretch Your Stamps 2 with Online Card Classes. What fun!

After watching videos from Kristina Werner, Shari Carroll, Tasnim Ahmed and Lisa Spangler, I created a card that combined some of the techniques we learned. I inked my reverse stamp with Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Mowed Lawn, Fired Brick and Tea Dye, spritzed it, then placed the watercolor paper on top. This is what I got. I tried it a few times, and this one is my favorite. The sentiment, Simply Fabulous Sayings from My Favorite Things, was heat embossed with VersaFine Black Ink and clear embossing powder.

Hope you like today's card. I'll have more coming as I spend more times studying the videos. As always, I appreciate your comments and visits very much, and I hope to see you again real soon ~

  6. This is so GORGEOUS, Sharon!!!! Love the colors you chose, they just pop!! Thought about taking that class, but not sure how it works. I don't want to be tied down to a certain time to have to do stuff. I did buy the watercolor class and I'm in love with that. Your card is just beautiful!!!!
