Ladybug Hug

This card was for Outlawz challenge that was to include bugs. Bugs, of all things! This Lady made it with her family all the way across the card. Love the ribbon with the cherries!

Wedding Couple

I created these two cards for a challenge at Gina K Design's Stamp TV. We were to make two cards, exactly alike, but with one in black and white and the other in color. My son's wedding used blue, so I went with that for my color. The center of the butterflies are colored according to the card they were included with.

Colors!

I enjoyed creating this card for the Color Challenge at The Outlawz. We were to use pink, orange and cream colors. I inked a floral background stamp from Simon Says Stamps with neon pink ink and stamped onto orange cardstock. Then I layered a cream colored panel and trimmed it with two-toned ribbon. On top of that I layered a diecut circle stamped in pink with a sentiment from Unity stamps and distressed with a slight bit of pink around the edges. Finally, I added some bling with two rhinestones above and below the sentiment.

Thanks for looking. Please leave a comment below. I appreciate it!

Strawberries and Pearls

I've added a couple of cards today that I made while just playing around in my stash. Since this is a hot day, my eye was attracted toward the strawberries and gingham. Once I finished the blue and green card, I realized it could be used for an Outlawz challenge that requires pearls. Hope you like them!

Wedding

I used Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder from Stampin Up! for the design on this wedding card. The sentiment is from Gina k Designs, embossed in gold. I also used lace across the bottom and silver thread. Hope you like it!

Layers of Love

This card is entered into a challenge for layers with sentiment(s) at Gina K Design's Stamp TV.  The card is layered with an embossed panel, which is multi-layered with the basket/topper/stuffed animals images. The sentiment is also layered on the bottom.

Berries & Vines

I posted three views of the same card here so you could see up close some of the extra special touches I added to make this card work. It took me a while to figure what to do that would be creative and original, but I think I finally got it!

The paper is Berries and Vines from Gina K Designs. The leaves in the center were included in a package sent to me by a dear friend soon after I had surgery for my broken ankle. It was a great Get Well package, and you've already seen a few other cards I've created with diecuts from her gift.

In this card, the leaves along that center piece were white, so I colored them a few shades of green with Copics, added dots with my white pen, then cut out a few strawberries to climb the vine. Finally, I added a tied ribbon with more polka dots to complete the card. The sentiment across the top is from Stephanie Barnard's Stamps of Life. Hope you like it!

Now, go have a strawberry on me!

Challenges!

This card was created for a weather challenge at Outlawz, and I may enter it into another one that requested the colors hot pink, light blue and white since this would fit. Stamps used were from Stephanie Barnard's Stamps of Life. I used Glossy Accents on the buckle and the bottom of the boot. I also added some to the raindrops and the outline of the umbrella. Love that stuff, but it's too easy to get carried away with too much.

Thanks for stopping by! I encourage you to leave a comment or just say Hi so I know you were here. Have a great day!

The Seashell

These cards were CASEd from Theresa Momber's tutorial of her stamp set, By the Sea 2, which can be found on http://craftingtheweb.blogspot.com/. These stamps can be found at Gina K Designs.

I stamped the seashell in Memento's Rich Cocoa ink, then colored and shaded with various Copic markers. Then I inked the bottom part of the cart with Memento's Desert Sand & dotted with Copics to show sand. The sky was a mix of Stephanie Barnard's Sky Ink from Stamps of Life, blended with the brighter Bahama Blue Memento ink. I used a white pen to show (what's supposed to be) waves in the ocean. The card was matted on Kraft cardstock.
