More Thank You's!

Hi everybody! I'm back with two more Thank You cards. These will be sent to my two sons, who blessed me with wonderful Christmas gifts. I made these cards a few weeks ago but am just now getting them posted to my blog.

For these, I used dies from Reverse Confetti, which I just LOVE! The Thanks word die even comes with one of the tag dies. The little heart in the word bubble is from Simon Says' I See You Stamp Set, and the Thanks black & white patterned paper is from Stephanie Barnard's Stamps of Life.

The inside says "You're Pretty Fantastic," just like the other two Thank you cards I previously posted. Like I said, it fits my family perfectly. They ARE fantastic!

I am entering the first card to two Challenges: Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge (Love Is In The Air + Use Red) and Addicted to CAS (Red).

Thank you for stopping by today! I appreciate your comments and visits very much, and I hope to see you again real soon!

Time for Thank You's

Hi everybody! Hope you're having a good week. It's time for me to post a couple of  thank you cards. I actually made these right after Christmas but never got them on my blog until now. These two cards were made for my brother and sister--they gave me wonderful Christmas gifts and I wanted to thank them in a special way. My brother got the second one; my sister, the first. She loves red, so I gave her the one with the most red on it.

The inside reads, "You're pretty fantastic," which is perfect for my family. They ARE fantastic!

The background paper is from Stephanie Barnard's Stamps of Life in one of their Card Club Kits. The stamp set I used is called I See You and it's by Simon Says Stamps. The heart is from a Stampin Up! Framelit Die, which I don't see in their catalog anymore. (The little glass kiss you see at the bottom of the card is a piece of WV Handmade Glass that I own.) The ribbon and gems are from my stash.

I'm entering the first card in Simon Says Stamp's Monday Challenge (Love Is In The Air + Use Red) and Addicted to CAS Challenge (Use Red).

Thank you for stopping by today. I appreciate your comments and visits very much, and I hope to see you again real soon. I have another posting coming right up!

Valentines Box Card

Hello friends! Hope you've enjoyed a good weekend. I have another Box Card for you, this time it's for Valentine's Day.

I used materials from Stephanie Barnard's Stamps of Life Card Kit that came in December. I love everything in this kit. Most of the colors are black and pink, but I included lots of red in this card. The button on the front was from my stash.

The box was created using a Sizzix Die, and the Valentines were taken from various stamp sets by Stamps of Life. I stamped them with red or black ink, then fussy cut them all.

After struggling with my first Box Card (with the purple flowers, seen at a previous post), this card was a breeze! Once you know what you're doing, it becomes much easier to prepare all your pieces needed to put it together. I find it a little difficult to put the inside pieces on that pop up, but I'm getting better at it with time. Practice, practice, practice!

Thank you for stopping by today. I appreciate your comments and visits very much, and I hope to see you again real soon ~

Thanks!

Hi everybody! Hope you're having a good week. I've been busy catching up with appointments, but I finally found the time to create a Thank You card for my son. One down, three to go!

This card uses supplies from Stephanie Barnard's Stamps of Life Card Kit from December. Those kits come filled with lots of goodies that go with a theme, including cardstock, patterned paper, embellishments, stamps and a die. It's a good deal, and it enables you to create cards like this one.

The glasses and sentiment came from a stamp set from Simon Says called I See You, and I love it just as much as the card kit! Since I wear glasses just like these, I thought they were appropriate for a card for my son.

You can see the inside of the card in the second picture posted above. It's very simple, giving me room to write a personal note before sending it off in the mail.

Thank you for stopping by today! I appreciate your comments and visits very much, and I hope to see you again real soon--another post is coming!

Flowers Box Card

Hello everybody! Did you have a good holiday? I had a wonderful time visiting my family in West Virginia. It was good to go, but it is good to be back, too.

Today's card is one I worked on for several days. I used the Box Card Die from Stephanie Barnard's Stamps of Life. There are dies in that package that create more than you need for one box. Lots of Birthday options, flowers and designs.

I decided to stick with dark purple, lavender and green for this Box Card. I also added a few yellow dots with Liquid Pearls for the center of some of the flowers. As you can see, I decorated both sides of each panel, either with a design, flowers or patterned paper. Choosing what was to go where is what took me so long to finish this project!

Before I go, I wanted to share with you a couple of pictures with me and my family. I have two sons, but during the holiday they were visiting during separate weeks. Therefore, I had to get separate pictures!

Here's me with Coleman and his wife, Meredith:

Happy New Year!

Thank you for stopping by today. I appreciate your comments and visits very much, and I hope to see you again real soon~
