Hello everybody! Surprise, it's me! Yes, I finally got around to poking my head in long enough to say hello. Hope you are well!
Today's card was created for a dear friend of mine who was recently admitted to a nursing facility to get some serious rehab. She has had part-time home health care for a few years, but it's time for some serious full-time nursing care. I wish only the best forSharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-11789756522896812562019-04-19T12:34:00.003-04:002019-04-19T12:34:55.016-04:00Happy Easter!
Happy Easter everybody! To begin, I thought I'd post a picture of my Easter Wreath. It used to be so colorful with pastel Easter colors such as pink, blue, green and yellow. Over the past 20 years, it has faded so I pulled out my watercolors a few weeks ago and began painting layers of light color. You can barely see the colors, but they are there.
These are the Easter cards I Sharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-87399403242464439672019-02-06T17:05:00.004-05:002019-02-06T17:05:54.837-05:00Sympathy
Hello everybody! I've had a hard time getting into my blog lately, but I finally persisted and I'm IN! WooHoo!
During January I found myself needing some Sympathy cards. Looking through my stash, I saw that my supply was low, so I got busy and created some more. These are just a few samples I thought you might like to see. The good news is I sold them as fast as I could make them!
I find Sharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-54469651827769745262018-12-20T17:26:00.002-05:002018-12-20T17:26:35.597-05:00Noel
Hello again! I'm back with another quick post of a Christmas card I created. This is my very favorite of all of them because of the unexpected background.
After watching a video by Jennifer McGuire a few weeks ago, I was inspired to get out my old alcohol inks & glossy cardstock. It had been so long, I wasn't even sure they would have any color left. (Most of them did, some of them did Sharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-23363471253313111022018-12-20T17:00:00.001-05:002018-12-20T17:00:32.064-05:00Christmas Cards
Hello everybody! Today I'm posting several Christmas cards that I have been creating during the past few weeks. I've had my head buried in cardstock, inks & stamps so much I haven't taken the time to post them. I had a deadline! Fortunately, all 50 went out in the mail yesterday. Whew! That was close.
To avoid a super-long blog post, I'm not going to describe every detail of every Sharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-69863328636640083732018-11-22T10:15:00.002-05:002018-11-22T15:10:13.825-05:00Happy Birthday Cory!
Hi everybody, and Happy Thanksgiving! As you can see, I still have Baby Cory on my mind. His pictures are the first thing I look at in the morning and the last in the evening. Now that the baby is two weeks old, I thought it was about time to show you his Birth Day card I created immediately after he was born.
I used a Sizzix die for the card arrangement, and a variety of colored Gina K Sharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-24250982376226607162018-11-08T10:26:00.002-05:002018-11-08T10:26:15.316-05:00Shout Out!
Hi everybody! Hope you're having a wonderful day.
The card I am sharing was created for a friend to give to a minister for her birthday. We knew it should be a CAS card with a cross on it, so this is what I came up with. The inside says "Happy Birthday," which is the perfect occasion to "sing for joy!"
The cross and bible verse came from a stamp set by MayMay Made It. I belong to their club Sharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-62444947932795324012018-10-18T19:41:00.002-04:002018-10-18T19:41:14.395-04:00Frames
Hi everybody! I think I'm about recovered from the past two Hurricanes (Florence and Michael) so it's time to get back to cardmaking!
For this one I used Mama Elephant's Little Frames set stamped in Gina K's Black Onyx ink. The top piece was layered onto a Red Velvet card base. I also used Red Velvet ink by Gina K Designs for the hearts.
This was a very simple card to make, but it was fun. ISharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-68143288538692818862018-07-22T13:09:00.002-04:002018-07-22T13:09:50.681-04:00Flowers
Hello! Hope your Sunday is going well. Today I'm posting yet another birthday card, this time a box card full of flowers. The picture is a little fuzzy since I enlarged it, but you can still see the sentiment.
I created this card using a die from Sizzix and some birthday paper from Stephanie Barnard's The Stamps of Life. The flowers were cut from a mixture of dies I had in my stash, mostly Sharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-44509350079467487072018-07-06T14:35:00.002-04:002018-07-06T14:36:15.271-04:00As Cool As You!
Hello again! I hope you had a good Fourth of July. I'm still working on birthday cards, as we have a lot of July birthdays in my family, and also among my friends.
This card was created for my sister's 65th birthday, July 2. She loves red, so I used red ink a lot on it. The popsicles, dies and front sentiment came from Taylored Expressions, and the bundle is called Chill Out. The inside Sharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-41654303329780003772018-07-03T18:57:00.003-04:002018-07-03T18:57:51.932-04:00Happy Anniversary
Hi everybody! How's your day coming along?
Today's card is one I made for my son and his wife for their 6th Anniversary. I wanted to create something special, something that really spoke to them.
Coleman, my son, loves turtles. Meredith, my DIL, loves squirrels. So I went through all my stamps and finally found one of each to put on the card.
The turtle came from The Stamps of LifeSharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-12267016812311494702018-06-18T11:29:00.001-04:002018-06-18T11:29:05.469-04:00Happy Mother & Father
Hi everybody! Hope you enjoyed celebrating Father's Day over the weekend.
I was recently told a very special young couple is expecting a baby in December, so I quickly got to work and created these two cards for them. The Mother's Day card was obviously belated, but I sent it with the Father's Day card so they would both get them at the same time.
The sentiment on the front of both Sharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-60602818450259770332018-06-05T15:55:00.001-04:002018-06-05T15:55:28.288-04:00BeYOUtiful
Hello everybody! How's your week coming along? I've got a bright card for you today that includes lots of glitter (thanks to Stickles I still use).
I created this with a new stamp & die set from The Stamps of Life called Sayings 4 Butterfly. I think they look so cute with the facial expressions. I used some new colors that just came out from Gina K Designs to color the Sharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-3664788718577543942018-06-03T15:21:00.000-04:002018-06-03T15:21:37.114-04:00Little Monkey Agenda
Hi everybody! Surprise! I'm back! Sorry it's been so long. I've had Vertigo so bad I haven't been able to do much at all. Fortunately, I've finally been able to see an excellent Physical Therapist who treats it. She's done an excellent job so far, which means I can accomplish a little more now than in the past few months. YAY!
First, I apologize for the picture of the front of the card. I Sharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-68960814894819556952018-03-08T16:58:00.002-05:002018-03-08T16:58:46.986-05:00You're So Kind
Hi everybody! How's your day been? I am way late getting this blog updated, and I apologize for that! My computer finally died - it wouldn't back up and it kept shutting down when I would be in the middle of something, like adding a post on here! Fortunately, I got another computer to use, but then I couldn't get into my blog. Frustrating! Today, I finally figured it out, so here we are. :)

Hello everybody! I'm back with another "Kindness" card for the Monthly Mix Challenge over at Gina K Designs. These are nice cards to make.
I changed the settings on my camera and changed the location for my picture taking. I also used the Ott light with it (thank you, Judy, for that suggestion!). Now you can see the yellow wallpaper behind the card, but at least the picture is more clear. Hello everybody! I'm here with two cards I entered into the Monthly Mix Challenge at Gina K Designs' Stamp TV. The theme was kindness, so I chose these two sentiments for my cards.
I foiled the sentiments in Rose Gold with my Heidi Swapp Mini Minc Machine and then layered them onto some turquoise and pink cardstock from my stash. The bling was added and the flowers watercolored. That's allSharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-67894648609724016922018-01-06T16:14:00.001-05:002018-01-06T16:26:46.511-05:00Dog Talk
Hi everybody! I'm here today with a birthday card for my brother. Don't worry, he never has the time to check my blog!
The set I used today is called Dog Talk and it's by Tim Holtz. The dog stamps came with an embossing folder (which I used on the front panel) and dies. I used all of them for this card, although it's a very clean & simple card. Most of mine are that way, I guess.
My Sharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-7863558677678605022017-12-30T16:54:00.001-05:002017-12-30T16:54:10.843-05:00Happy Birthday to My Ex
Hello! Yes, you read that title right. I created a Birthday card for my ex-husband. He's the father of my two, most-wonderful boys (now in their 30s), and I am thankful for that. We have remained friends since our 1996 divorce, mostly because we didn't want a negative affect on our boys if we didn't.
For this card, I used a recently-purchased-on-sale set from CAS-UAL FRIDAYS Stamps called Sharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-1186257869365052402017-12-30T16:05:00.002-05:002017-12-30T16:05:44.599-05:00Christmas Penguins
Merry Belated Christmas everybody! I've been in Boston, visiting my brother, so there haven't been any posts for a while. Now it's almost New Year's. Happy New Year's!
These are two of my very last Christmas cards for 2017. I know, I said that the last time, but in reality I had made these two before my last post and just forgot to take a picture until right before Christmas.

Hello again! I'm here with my last Christmas card for 2017. WooHoo! I finally got to #50! Thought that day would never come.
This is a very CAS card & very easy to create. I pulled out a variety of supplies for this one, using Stephanie Barnard's Triplets set for the gifts, Gina K cardstock, and a sentiment from Lawn Fawn. I keep all my Christmas stamps & dies together, so all I had Sharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-60926712715384887462017-12-12T17:16:00.001-05:002017-12-12T17:16:06.255-05:00Christmas Wreath
Hi everybody! I'm back today with one of my last Christmas cards. WooHoo! The end is in site!
I found this Christmas Wreath stamp set at Inspired By Stamping a week ago and just HAD to have it. I love the wreath and the large JOY, although on here it looks a little wonky. The set also includes such sentiments as Peace on Earth, Be Joyful, Hope and O Holy Night. Love all of those! I colored Sharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-53972756104372922592017-12-11T14:08:00.003-05:002017-12-12T17:07:28.823-05:00Festive Fireside
Hello again! Surprised you, didn't I? I'm back already with more Christmas cards for 2017. These were created for a friend of mine who has bought a pack of cards from me for the past couple of years. I post a few on Facebook and she picks out her favorites. I enjoy creating cards for her, and it's nice to create something nice for someone who appreciates it.
I used an old Stampin Up set Sharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-6153850759434135412017-12-11T13:02:00.000-05:002017-12-11T13:07:45.986-05:00Christmas Penguin
Hello everybody! It's been a while since I posted. I've been traveling to Boston to see my brother for Thanksgiving. Then I was able to attend my niece's Senior Recital in music & drama in New York City at NYU. No worries -- I took some Christmas cards to work on while I was there! Can't get behind on this project!
First, I want to thank Kevin Mowery again for designing the new Christmas Sharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3677399823011977105.post-6661266413159410192017-11-19T13:47:00.004-05:002017-11-19T13:47:58.014-05:00Foiled Christmas
Hello everybody! I'm back with a couple more Christmas cards. I'm really trying to get as many done now so I can get them mailed soon after Thanksgiving. One of my friends sends me my first card of the year around that time, and I'd like to be ready to reciprocate. He's my 8th grade math teacher, and we've been sending each other Christmas cards for over 40 years! That's got to be some kindSharon Underwoodhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17852358318941710344noreply@blogger.com2
