CAS Day 7.2

As another part of today's lessons, Kristina Werner gave a lesson in Simple Copic Coloring where we color lines of various shades on a piece of Vellum paper and then layer it behind a piece of cardstock that has been die cut.

I die cut some flowers, hearts and circles using dies from Stephanie Barnard's Stamps of Life and also cut out the small word "Hi." That was as complicated as I would get for this card! Personally, I think a bigger word would've looked better. Anyway, I added a few gems here and there and put all this onto a blue piece of cardstock for card base. That means this is NOT a one-layer card, but that's ok. It's still Clean and Simple!

Thanks for stopping by today! I appreciate your visits and comments very much and enjoy learning from each of you. Keep on coming back!

  1. AWWW I really like the colors your chose. Sweet card

  2. Another pretty card. I like the blue and yellow together.

  3. It is definitely clean and simple and definitely gorgeous, Sharon! I think it is great with the small hi, but I agree, I'll bet it would also look great with a larger one. Have a great week! Hugs, Darnell

  4. This looks great and love the colours you chose. Aren't these classes the best? So many wonderful things to learn. Your certainly learning them all very well!

  5. First of all, I love your color pallet. Secondly, you have mastered the CAS technique. And thirdly, I love, love, love the clean, crisp look of the die cuts. It's just gorgeous all the way around. I am totally impressed!!!!!

  6. I love your "take" on this technique.
The colors are really playful, and fun, AND, perfect with the "hi" sentiment.
    Nice job, Sharon.
