Hello

Hi everybody! Sorry it's been so long since I've posted. Lots going on.

Today's card is one I actually saw on Facebook. I'd give the person credit here but I can't find it again and don't know the creator's name. I think she used stamps from Stampin Up! but mine are from The Stamps of Life. The set is called Cherries2Stamp. The sentiment, ink and patterned paper are also from The Stamps of Life. Bling is from my stash. I used Allyson's Ribbon Die for the white strip.

This was a fun card to create. I like the design and the use of patterned paper.

Unrelated to this cheerful card, I want to share with you great concerns I have for the flooding that's happened in West Virginia, my home State. Many, many people are suffering from loss of home, family and friends. I, too, have lost someone due to this flood--she was an excellent teacher to my children when they were young. This is a very sad time for all who learned from her as students and all who enjoyed her as friends. Her death is just one example of the horrific crisis that's occurring as I write this. I am fortunate my family is safe, but many are not. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you for stopping by today. I appreciate your comments and visits very much, and I hope to see you again real soon ~
