Christmas Flip-Its

Hello again! It's been a long while since I posted. I've been busy duplicating the Christmas cards I've already shown you. Now I've started creating Flip-Its for Christmas cards. They are much easier to create and don't take as much time as my previous cards.

This first card shows you the stamp set called Penguins4Christmas from Stephanie Barnard's Stamps of Life. It's an older set, but one I've held on to for years because I just love the penquins.

I kept this very simple and just used black, red and white. Although those are not usually perceived to be Christmas colors, I felt they worked for this particular card. The only Copic color I used was R29 for the ribbon on the package and the bow below the sentiment.

Because this will be mailed and sent via USPS, I did not add any ribbon so there wouldn't be a knot that could jam their machines. These cards are going out late enough, and I don't want anything to hold them up in delivery.

Here's a different card using the same patterned paper that's not a Flip-It. I glued a piece of ribbon across the front of this but did not add a bow. The penguin on top is die cut with an added bow. The sentiment is white heat embossed.

Finally, here's another simple Christmas Flip-It card I created.

Sorry if the second image of this set is a little fuzzy. I can't tell if it's the camera or my eyes, but I think when I enlarged the photo, it got fuzzy. You get the idea, though.

Thank you for stopping by today! I appreciate your comments and visits very much, and I hope to see you again soon!

P.S.  There will be another Christmas Flip-It card to show you that has a different penguin on it. Stay tuned!

  2. Super cute - I love flip cards. I have a die from Stampin' Up that does it all in one shot. Then you just decorate. Your cards are adorable!!
