Hi everybody! Hope you had a good holiday weekend! It's been quiet here, so I've been crafting.
July 2 was my sister's birthday. My card is late getting to her, which is happening too often. July crept up on me!
She likes RED more than anything, so I decided that would be the main color on my card. The supplies are all from Stephanie Barnard's Stamps of Life. I enjoy her products and have belonged to a few of her clubs -- Stamp Club, Die Hard Club, and Card Kit Club. Now I'm just a member of the Die Hard Club, which means I get a stamp set with the dies once a month. Love it!
For this card, I used the Circle Flip-It #2 die for the base of the card. Paper is from the Happy Collection, and the stamps & dies are from the Ladybugs2love set.
Here are a few (fuzzy) close-ups to show you the die-cut pieces I added to the circles.
I kept this fairly simple because it will have to go through the mail. I didn't want any bumps to tear up the envelope. I'm taking a chance with that knot in the ribbon. Let's hope it makes it all right!
Before I go, I wanted to share a picture of me with my sister, taken this past year when she came to help me after ankle surgery. What a blessing! Love her!

I wasn't going to incorporate mine into cards, but something else. They would go so perfectly with your gorgeous creation! You and your sister look beautiful! I haven't seen mine in 18 yrs as she lives in Japan and is older. I'm glad you are close to your family! ♥
