This card was fun to create, too, just like my last one. I die cut waves using a die from Stephanie Barnard's Stamps of Life and then fit them together. Everything's glued to a piece of white cardstock, which I also used for the base. The ribbon, flip-flops and sentiment are also from SOL.
Like I said, I enjoyed putting this card together. I loosely followed a lesson on Border Dies by Debby Hughes. She had waves on her card, which gave me the idea, but the rest of it is original.
One more day left for homework! WooHoo! Stay tuned, please!
Thank you for stopping by today. I appreciate your comments and visits very much, and I hope to see you again real soon!
FUN card! Hope you can do that once your kitchen is back together! ;)
ReplyDeleteThis looks similar to the inlay technique, which I love doing with dies. Very cute card, love your beautiful bright colors. And those flip flops are great - they just made me smile!
ReplyDeleteThis is just too cute Sharon.

So so adorable - love your design!
ReplyDeletePerfect card for this technique!
ReplyDeleteYou've certainly enjoyed this class and I've enjoyed all of your homework. This beach scene is awesome and love the sandals (in New Zealand we call them Jandals...such a strange word...).
