Hello! Happy Saturday to you! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend! I am having fun playing with my paper, inks and stamps on this hot, humid day. I've also been looking through some old CardMaker magazines and found an awesome card I wanted to try. This is my take on it.
This card is for the Mod Squad Challenge, which asks for cards relating to the Ocean or Sea. This stamp set is from Gifts From The Sea by Melanie Muenchinger at Gina K Designs. Living at the beach, of course this is one of my all-time favorite stamp sets! I also love the color of Turquoise Sea ink and cardstock, also from Gina K Designs. I simply stamped the images, cut them out, and placed them on the card before adding some twine around the middle, below the sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by today! I appreciate your visits and comments very much, and I hope to see you again soon!
Wonderful card Sharon, I love the color and the shells that you cut out. I also love the panel with the sentiment. The birds & starfish is a great touch. Thanks for joining in this week… :)
ReplyDeleteYour so good with your scissors!! I can't imagine myself doing such a good job cutting around those gorgeous shell stamps...they look amazing. And just love the colour you chose. I also love that its not an obvious ocean card i.e. with boats, anchors etc. This is subtle and really thinking outside the square. Perfect!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Sharon. I love how it's not a "typical" ocean scene but I can almost hear the waves and seagulls. Great job my dear
ReplyDeleteSharon this is super great and I love the sentiment.
