Hello! Hope your day is going well! Can't believe the weekend is here again already!
Want to shout out a big birthday hello to my son, Coleman H. Richardson, who is turning 28 today! He called me early this morning to wish me a Happy Labor Day...how cool is that?
The sentiment on this card reminds me of him, because he has tremendous talent in the arts and is working hard to begin a career in that area while living close to Los Angeles. He's well on his way, too! WooHoo! How exciting!
I created this card while following a video on Gina K Designs' Stamp TV. I switched around the direction of the oval and changed colors a bit, but other than that, it's very close to Gina's card. I used the new Stamp TV Shabby Spring kit with the stamp set called Spring Blessings. It included a Vintage Cut of the sideways butterfly, which I stamped on and then watercolored. The ribbon across the bottom is from the kit as well.
So far I plan to submit this card to the Mod Squad challenge and the Gina K Designs Stamp TV Mix It Up Monday challenge. I believe this will work for Card Concept #7, too. This should qualify as Classy & Elegant style.
Hope you're having a wonderful Friday! Take it easy, have a good weekend, and come back soon because I love your visits and your comments very much! We can always learn from each other, right? Right!
This is beautiful Sharon, I love the colour combination and the way you have framed the butterfly, gorgeous, Cx
