Clear Card

This card was created for our second day of Online Card Class Insider's. This has been tough for me so far, and it's only the second day! I never posted one for the first day, in fact!

I used a clear card from Close To My Heart and layered patterned paper on the inside, then put a piece of blank white cardstock on the back to cover any adhesive marks. The very front has a label that says "Happy Birthday" and the inside has the same that says "To You."

Hope you like today's card. There will be more as the week progresses, and they should be quite different from my usual CAS cards because this class is taking me way out of my comfort zone! Please leave a comment before you go and let me know what you think. It means a lot to me!

  4. Lovely Sharon! Very interesting! Did you make the card from Acetate or can you buy them ready to use?

    1. These were clear cards bought through Close To my Heart. Thicker than regular acetate.

  8. I love your card Sharon. Is the clear card just like slightly thicker acetate? or is there some other difference? I will have to look for it next time I am back in the UK. (no chance of getting anything like that where I am living - unless I import it and stock it in our shop :-) )

    1. There's no other difference. The clear cards come in a package just like regular cards.

  9. Lovely card, hard to try to new techniques, but aren't you thrilled with the result of your stepping outside your comfort zone and creating something so fun and unique and beautiful? Well done.
